Antonio Vivaldi: The Four Seasons
Soloist: Noa Wildschut, violin
Maestro Jules Orkest, conducted by Jules van Hessen

The explanation before the intermission is in Dutch !

What was going through Vivaldi’s mind when he wrote The Four Seasons? Maestro Jules guides you through all the ins and outs of this marvelous piece of music. How did Vivaldi transform nature into sound? How did he recreate the sound of chattering teeth on a violin? And why is there a dog in the piece?

He starts his ‘reveal’ in an informal setting with the aid of live orchestral excerpts and video imagery. After the intermission, they then perform the piece in full and you’ll experience the piece as you’ve never heard it before.
